Web Hosting! (for Real This Time)

<div class="IPBDescription">I'm ready to finally pay!</div> OK, so I made a post about web hosting a little while ago but I didn't want to pay anything. Now that I've seen that I can get some really cheap hosting I'm ready to pay for it. My requirements are listed below.

<b>Windows/Linux</b>
<b>1 Domain</b>
<b>Around 1GB Storage Space</b>
<b>1 FTP Account</b>
<b>Monthly Bandwith Doesnt Matter</b>
<b>CGI/Perl/PHP/MySQL</b>
<b>No More than $10 a month</b>


EDIT: Should I get a Windows or Linux server, and what are active server pages?

    Thanks Caboose. I saw a 1and1 ad in PCWorld and they caught my interest. I think I'm going to give it a try. I think what I might do, since the package you linked me to includes 3 domains, I'll obviously do one for me, then get other people to pay me like $3-$4 for a domain. Bwahahahaha.

    Actually being in the webhosting bussines, Mullet, your host doesn't really offer that... You see, if you use all of those resources you get a nice little email saying you're abusing the server resources <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    1 and 1 isn't that good either, if you want to find a real host just go to <a href='http://webhostingtalk.com' target='_blank'>http://webhostingtalk.com</a> and start doing research, I won't self advertise myself here, however if you're doing a gaming website I will host it free of charge =)



    Edit : Probably Linux, windows is Microsoft's immitation of PHP in a way, you don't really need it, and linux has software to emulate it =)

    Here is my dilemma. I'm only 15 and considered a minor so my dad has to use his credit card to pay for it. My dad does not trust online companies with no contact phone number and SolidInternet does not provide a phone number. I need a host with a phone number and appears to be somewhat reputable. Sorry for not clarifying earlier on.

    (nooooooooo do not tell them of t3h hidd3n area =P)

    I usto be in the biz too but I droped out after only 3 clients and 3 months and myacen was the gateway for the first month
