why on earth would I be so harsh on your models if I couldn't demonstrate that I at least know what I'm talking about? I do alot of custom animations, so I would only hope that you should have enough faith in me to realise that I would be smart enough to come up with a way to model and assign a pair of hands that I would be working with enough to make them move naturally... I'd be pretty pathetic otherwise... and just to kinda reinforce that fact, here's a demonstration picture:

meh.. I could assign it to the default textures in like 2 minutes honestly... I'd like some nice new high resolution textures for it... hell I'll assign it to the default texture real quick RIGHT NOW:

even though it's not assigned well, you get my point.. it still looks like crap...
ive skinmeshed it into the default hands properly. i looked for dillingers high detail hands, but the links dont work, so anyone kind enough to link me to them?

natural movement, that would be nice to see in a game.
all the other animatios are like cartoons. hand goes from point A to B and thats it, no moving afterwards or no normal finger movement, resting fingers and stuff.
like in dukenukem 3d, if someone reembers, if you wait a while. he rubbed his hands and all.
Hey Ice, would you care to animate for my RF2 Pack once I get it all meshed and skinned? A couple of them will need new anims.

'twas my first organic model, not to mention done midst studies and 'tween classes
anyway... I'd still much rather have new textures than old ones, ones that actually ya know, fit this model, since regardless of the similiarities, it's NOT the same shape...
sigh... was hoping to get some one else to UVW map this for me... You and REDD should get in contact with Flayra and see if he wants to include an option in the 3.0 final (or God forbid beta 6) installer for high poly models. I know S&I and IIRC SvenCoop already do this, might be a nice idea for all the nublets, so they don't have to come and search the forums for the models.
Besides, I've said it many times, but I'll say it again, NEED NEW TEXTURES, OLD ONES CRAP NEW ONES GOOD
god I feel like I've rolled in the soil that DeathBringer crawled out of speaking in all caps and so incoherently, but some times it's like that's all people can understand...
regardless, even if those textures were working, they aren't the default arm textures, so it doesn't make much a difference...
new model = new textures... not a terribly complex concept to comprehend...

If I have to do it myself it will be a while before it gets done, because I have alot of other stuff going on, i.e. college life, and I have a huge freaking Calc 2 test tommorrow, and like 2 english papers as well as a new physics lab that I was um... not present for...

agreed... which is WHY I ask AGAIN for a new texture, and new maps...
is anyone here good with organic UVW mapping? I'm sure I COULD do it, but like I have mentioned, time isn't on my side here, so you guys could be waiting longer than for HL2
