<div class="IPBDescription">on sega</div> Well, a friend of mine had this game when we were 6, on his mega drive, or master system, i don´t remember.
Well, now want to find it since i have some great memories for this game, sadly i can´t remember the title anymore, but i may give you a desription of some of the scenery and things that i still remember so, maybe some of you have played, or seen it and may tell me whats the name of the game.
Ok, here it goes:
Its a sidescrolling jump and run game.
You may choose one of multiple charakters in the beginning of the level, the charakters are furry, one resembles fox mac cloud from starfox and i think there is some sort of a hippo.
They may have special abilities, each (maybe, not sure.
The goal is to resuce something (animals???)
You are able to shoot things (throw things) at enemies
The first to levels habe (maybe in egypt playing) some sorts of pyramids in them, i think.
The first boss is some sot of an owl, made of rings, he has an head and then rings below him down to his feet, like this:

On the left and the right of the screens there aer cannons wich you have to jump on, so they fire.
If you hit him, he looses one of the rings and gets smaller, you have to do this until you hit the head, this boss comes multiple times in the ganme and gets harder oer time.
To move he warps up in the sky (like the rings transporter from stargate) and comes down at another position, he may throw one of his rings around to hin you.
In one of the first levels, there is an entrance to a warpzone, inside a corridor of one of the pyramids, you have to throw something there and then there is a hole in the game (black crack), you may jump through and then select the stage to play.
The game is rather hard, jumping wise, but i think there are not much enemies, the bosses are very hard ( for a 6 year old kid)

Insector X & Wonderboy may also be close to or the actual game your trying to describe. Been so long since I've played one of those cartridge games lol.
But might I add these 3 are the best. games. ever. made.
