View Hitbox Only?

is there a way to only view the hitbox only not the model? like a hax that u can only see hitbox and no models, make the hitbox to solid view.

    Try r_drawentities.     no there is not. The hitbox is server side so you never have any idea where the hitbox actually is. Sure you can make a modle with a box on where the hitbox is supposed to be but that doesnt mean the hitbox will be there in game...

    The r_drawentities command will show the model hitbox.

    The actual hitbox is utterly different. Look at the marine model, for instance.. because of the jetpack, the hitbox has to have a large, empty space on the back.

    Yeah, there's no actual hitbox there when they don't have a jetpack on.

    The command (any any multiplayer hax to emulate this command) would be pointless.

    They fixed the hitbox bug(With last slot bugged slot) they're going to fix a few things in beta 5. And no there is no secret spot where if you shoot at it it will do twice as much damage.

    why would u want to see a model with no hitbox? it's like shooting a skulk with the hitbox lag behind. the skulk is somehow invinsible in that way. so, it would just be nice if we could just see the actual hitbox instead of model with hitbox lag behind.

    It isn't as if the model is deliberately drawn behind, mate. The client draws the model where it thinks the entity really is. Even if you do get it to draw only the hitboxes, those hitboxes would be displayed <i>where the client thinks they are</i> - that is, in exactly the same place as the model.

    I'd guess that a lock would be more likely because the guys question has already been answered, considering this thead has absolutly nothing to do with the PSHB.

    yep. altho, being able to see the actual hitbox, graphically, exactly how the server see's it would be quite nice. if it were possible to see the hitbox as the server see's it, you could literally see pshb in motion. if it were this easy, pshb would have not been a myth for so long.

    that being said, however. im sure with cheats enabled, on a non dedicated server...the server owner would see the hitbox's exactly as they are, and would be able to see phsb....thats if it still exists, and has not been fixed by valve.
