Obst: you are ALMOST correct, there is one flaw in your process, the fatboy tool works in the direction of the normals, which is the word you were looking for there, the direction that a face is pointing is called its "normal" and if you flip the "normals" before using the fatboy tool, you must use a negative small integer or else it will suck itself inside of the original model
and yes, although its not a terribly complex process, it is quite time consuming, and many models like to cause many unwanted side effects, as Bashh soon discovered when I was showing him how to cel-shade his guns, and even without the unwanted side effects that take extra time in the process, 110 models is still alot of work, models aside, textures even
anyway, today is my targetted release date, and we're throwing together an Installation pack so I can get it out to everyone as pain free as possible, just hang in there
on a side note, I've also been working on a few other projects simultaneously, like Chrono's P90, which I just finished

This pack is gonna rock!!!!
Is there ne way to do a cell-shaded Halo Pistol, or when the Halo pack is finished, maybe do a Cell Shaded Halo Pack? that includes a cell shaded masterchief?
I love the Halo stuff and this pack so much, i just wanna know if ne1 could make the halo weapons cell-shaded pack?
TIA

well mattzo, that's kind of a waste of space in my opinion, and I apologize that the pack isn't released yet, but we are working on getting the installation to work as painless as possible for everyone
you could just install it to a seperate directory..

*kicks his 56k modem while it downloads the default file pack*

*waits patiently for the sexy cel-shaded pack to be released*

*shares out a few cookies to keep people patient*

But on another more pertinent point, with people implementing graphical shaders in to the HL engine (such as the light-bloom that some people are keen on), why hasn't anyone explored the option of a proper cel-shading filter? I'd assume it could be implemented to work on models only, creating a better effect overall with less work required by people such as Ice and co.

Oh well... guess I'm just venting ideas
