Don't feel too badly, even us on the opposite side of the US don't have them. I've only heard of them being in California and Washington.
And for those who don't feel like shelling out $1k+ for a true arcade cabinet, <a href='http://www.stepmania.com' target='_blank'>Stepmania</a>, a $20 DDR pad, and a $15 PS2-to-USB adapter have worked just fine for me.
edit: and they have the best return policies <b>ever.</b>
Less expensive + not ginormous = win
Has every DDR Song, and then some.
Or, you can just play <a href='http://www.flashflashrevolution.com' target='_blank'>FFR</a>.

Uh...none of them in central cali bud. I've never seen on in Cali at all TBH- though, I did see one in Arizona.
Edit: Accidently put nevada instead of Arizona...damned exactly-the-same states...
As for the DDR machine Geminosity, I'd say it looks pretty nice. The one thing I'd worry about with that cabinet is being able to switch out any of the many versions of DDR.
Dance Dance Revolution is the devil I say, the DEVIL!!!!

Why play FFR when you can play <a href='http://www.somethingawful.com/features/dancedancekarnov/index.htm' target='_blank'>DDK</a>
WARNING: Second level contains suggestive themes, and is really disgusting.
Oh and I currently dance on <a href='http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=22&products_id=3681&' target='_blank'>this</a> anyways <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
<b>grimmy edit:</b> You can actually run stuff like stepmania on the arcade machines so it's not hard to enjoy the full blown experience with any songs you like =D
WHAT!? You mean....I could play Party4U on an arcade mahcine!? Sweetness!

There is a DDR machine in the Falkirk Superbowl (I saw in your profile you are from Scotland so I thought you might know it). We've had a couple of staff nights out there and most people go on that machine instead of bowling <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

They're not all themed, they just open them where there's a lot of money. They randomly opened one in Naperville, Illinois, this year. Why? Because that place is filthy rich. Not themed, just a Fry's.
I know because I dragged a friend on them XD
If you're in the UK and wondering where to find DDR machines though, DDRUK has <a href='http://www.ddruk.com/macloc.php' target='_blank'>this</a> handy-dandy machine location database that tells you what's in your area and where =3
I was at an arcade in aberdeen and there were 6-10 DDR machines in a row!
