    Two reasons i cant play:

    a) I have a 600mhz computer with other hardware similar in performance <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    b) I don't have UT2K4

    And i'm not buying UT2K4 so i can play on my dads computer twice a week... blargh.

    if anyone else gets this message, update your UT 2k4 to the latest version , and delete the airbuccaneers.ini and airbunccaneersUser.ini files (should be first 2 ini files) in the system directory and try again

    Go into your air buccaneers folder > system > airbuccaneers.ini

    Change LocalMap=LudoCraftLogo.ut2

    to

    LocalMap=NoIntro.ut2


    See if that does it. Normally that takes away the nvidia logo on startup.

    Just got done playing it for like.. 1 and a half hours..
    Damn its good.. I love loading up some gunpowder pouches into the cannons and flaming the hell out of other ships... So much more powerful than most peoples idea of just throwing the damn things.. Though, its kind of annoying when people try to use gun powder against long range targets.. that just annoys me.. Cannonballs for mid range, Rockets for long and Powder for close.

    Also, managed to get 7 drops in one round.. a new record for the server I was on. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Played it today..... First I was like.. WTH?

    I just love the last thing that happened before the map changed and I left.
    Some guys were shooting my airballoon and I was almost dead when I just made a leap of faith towards a tower and I made it.
    I killed my ambushers with airmines and several other balloons were damaged by them when I ran out of airmines and I just waited patiently on the tower for airballoons to come and in all of a sudden all of the fighting came my way!
    I boarded every enemy ship I could reach and killed most of them with my sword before I boarded the next, the game just changed into a jumping platforming game jumping from ship to ship, killing people on ropes and so on.
    It was really the best experience I've had with the mod.

    So anyway, good game all and I hope to see you guys again in AirBuccaneers! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I played alongside DivW and OttoDestruct a couple
    of hours ago and it was great fun. I enjoyed steering
    and aiming the cannons.

    I thought i'd took some screenshots but they're not
    in the usual place. I must have forgot to alter the

    Still, it was great fun and if anyone has any more fun
    mod's like this then please post them. It's pretty funny

    I suck at pretty much everything, but this mod RULES. With a good loader/lighter I managed to take down a couple of enemy ships, including a battleship. Incredible mod.

    I love the idea, but the way the game is so slow-paced really doesn't appeal that much to me.

    sitting waiting for a ship to spawn
    steering the ship
    shooting/aiming the cannons

    it is all rather slow.

    I do enjoy jumping off my boat onto enemy ones and killing them with gunpowder sacks/swords though.

    I just had something that is one of the best gaming moments I've had.

    I had a small ship, and used the down down forward forward thing and shot straight at a guy. I jumped off my ship, roped his ship, he jumped down after me and roped as well. There we were swinging 1,000 feet above the ground, Longswords drawn, battling for ownership of the ship.

    I killed him and sent him plummeting.
