I don't think "owned" is the appropriate sentiment here.

I've been involved with two girls - one I dated - with eating disorders, and it's miserable. Frankly, I wish her the best of luck getting through it, and I hope whatever treatment she gets "takes". I don't care how overhyped their entire lives have been, I hope she gets better.

That said, that picture of her is FRIGHTENING. "Eat a sandwich" indeed.

Sheesh, never noticed how skinny they really are.

So, what exactly do they do at those treatment centers for anorexia? Cook them four Thanksgiving meals a day and take them to McDonalds in between for snacks? Or maybe force feed them hot fudge sundaes. Gee, that sounds kinda nice.

Speaking about them like that seems a bit harsh. Sure their pop culture style doesn't click with most people, I for one don't care for it, but it is a serious and debilitating disease. Good luck to her I say.

Isnt it an disease you bring on yourself? (albeit, coming from pressure, but still)
Anyway, I hope they learned their lesson and quit disgracing our eyes and confusing lost souls *gives a quick look to them*

Anorexia is really **** up

You don't want to eat, and after all the periods of not eating much at all, your muscles are all weak and spindly, and if you do eat a lot, your body won't be used to it, so you have to build it up.

And how ever much i can't stand the olsens, good luck to her.

[EDIT:] Epidemic, it's a medical condition, it can happen to anyone, it not just for so called 'weak minded' people, it could happen to you, me, anyone(but it's more common in girls for some reason)

I've been involved with THE two girls...
Mary-Kate's elbow to the rib at night will wake you up and Ashely... well... 'pinches' for lack of a better word. Otherwise not so big a deal. Besides, they're talentless little trolls that have nothing to offer in the entertainment industry. And their games suck. So I'm going to suggest "pwned" as a more appropriate sentiment.

Pshychological counseling, sometimes medications are prescribed, and in the worst-case scenarios, some severe anorexics must be force-fed.

Wow I never noticed how skinny they were either..then again when was the last time i looked..

Also I watch a program about people being anorexic, its not funny its bery sorrowful, it can lead to death !

Even though people go on those programs (no television) they still for some reason cheat and still take laxatives...

Poor people, hope they don't end up like that.

(lol wonders If i was talking about another illness...)

Actually the two are different disorders:

Anorexia is where a person simply starves themselves to look thin; Bullimia is the disorder where you eat great quantities of food and then vomit it up.

It can normally arise from being distressed or stuff like that.

e.g. your parents just got a divorce, and you become anorexic.

And bulimia is the one where you intentionally throw up whatever you eat btw

But in both anorexia and Bulimia, when you look in a mirror, you believe yourself to be overweight

Funnily enough men are more prone to a self-image disorder where they obsessively build their bodies, to the point of virtually crippling themselves.

I can't see the hilarity in making a thread about poking fun at someone with an eating disorder. I COULD see the hilarity in someone making a thread about someone with an eating disorder because the threadmaker had a crush on said person for years and finally had to be legally restrained, and is now thinking how "pwn" it is because the object of his stalker like affection has "fallen from grace".

THAT would make me laugh. Because the fact of the matter is she'll very likely recover and still not be interested in the stalker fanboy.

Ha ha ha.

Notice i never laughed once, only made the title 'Olsens owned' as a generic thing, yea it sucks, but honestly who didn't see this coming? I also made it 'Olsens owned' mocking the hype media puts around the celebrities 'OGM OGM WTH OLSENS ARE 18 NOW OGM! MUST COVER ON E! NEWS FOR NEXT TWO WEEKS! OGM!' and other crap like that. I could really care less about those two, but its not a laughing matter. And on a side note I am not a fanboy.

What do they call the opposite of anorexia? I think I have that...

Oh, and you shouldn't make jokes about it. When I was in 7th grade I saw an anorexic girl and I was like... wow. If anyone thinks looking like that is desirable, they are retarded.

Also, I have no idea how it is caused but it would be probably end up being good for me.

Let's see:

First it was don't eat fattening stuff.
Then it was don't eat sugary stuff.
Afterwards calories became the scapegoat.
New diet 2004! It's the carbs, Oh my!

The only working diet is to not over-eat. Anorexic people lose wieght, because they don't over-eat. However, that's because they don't eat. If they ate just a sandwhich for breastfast, dinner and lunch they would be just fine.
