Yeah I had a heart stopping moment there as well.
Then I realized that <i>that</i> is exactly what made the game so funny and explosively stupid. The game is very... well you know, in presentation, and that makes it all the more funny.
As Pulse said, people like this game because it is just so... so <b>wrong</b>. And yes the sound was hilarious.

You apparently can't read what the dictionary told you, then.(bolded for your convenience) It was a quick runthrough of what the creatures were going to be, not a discussion on the mythological aspects behind them or anything.

No, I know what I wrote. I think "half-man half-bird" is a tad more descriptive than just "flying creature", which really doesn't tell you crap about what the thing looks like. gj.
Oh, and the dragon morph rocks.
That said, stupid PS2-exclusive. Why do developers continue to code games for that POS?
