Starship Troopers 2
Okay so I just stopped by at blockbusters and picked up ST 2. I got home and popped it in the DVD player right away. Afterall, I did love the first movie...
To make a long story short, I watched the movie for 15 minutes and it felt like 2 hours. The only cool part was when it would show the naked chick....It was horrible....NO ONE EVER RENT THIS MOVIE, OR BUY IT!
On a good note, I rented Mystic River and that movie was awsome. Very stylish <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> Oh yeah, I also bought Way of the Gun. Also a very good flick. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Me and my friend Steve rented this, thinking it'd at least be decent. Oh, were we ever wrong. But the only good thing we got from that movie is the above statement. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Hey! You're right! At least there was one good actor in this film, though, and they weren't all metrosexual Harvard dropouts...
Thats all that happened in the film... they kicked butt. The acting was way below average, story did the book no justice and well it was directed be Paul Verhoven so that says it all really. The only good thing it had going for it was the CG effects. It's just a 10 year old boys wank fantasy.

Wank fantasy? Well, unless you are into bugs I dont see it that way. It was (or constructed) as a 80 film, with bad acting, poor screen quality but the story was pretty interesting..
What, you mean you didn't like stirring dialogue like:
"We're going back to P... to get the brain"
A line delivered by Doogie Howser, no less!!!
The armor that the marines would wear looked like a plastic costume you could buy at wal-mart, but it's things like that which make the movie a classic <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
It had a **** script, **** actors, a **** storyline, **** plotholes, **** concepts, and the whole thing was ****. I could **** in my DVD player and beat a baby to death with it and it'd be more entertaining then ST1.
It should've come with a new rating: YOUR IQ MUST BE THIS LOW TO ENJOY - From talking to people that actually liked ST1, that's not really far from the truth (this same rating should also apply to Matrix 2 and 3, which pretty much run the same as ST1: Oh boy we have this potentially great story, let's exapand it- wait, um, people like bullet time, and even though we've been seeing bullet time in movies for the past 4 years now, let's screw the plot and just fill it with cliche, boring special effects)
It looked like they were shooting blue rail guns lol.
No recoil, just a small blue flash.
meh I didnt like the second one at all compaired to the first.
And if you enjoyed the 1st one and have watched it a few times you will notice in the second one they use the captin of the ship who got killed by getting crushed under the door of the ship when it got hit in the 1st one. AND NOW SHES IN THE SECOND ONE AS A TROOPER! I MEAN WTH M8!!! i know she was playing a different character BUT YOU CANNOT USE AN ACTOR THAT DIED IN THE FIRST FILM IN THE SECOND THAT DOESNT WORK!
GOD DAM NOOBIE DIRECTORS KILLED STARSHIP TROOPERS SERIES!!
BURN IN HELL!
That poster is the most awful photoshop job I have seen in a long time.....

i feel insulted.
are you one of those people that doesn't like die hard, and lethal weapon, and fun stuff like that?
it wasn't an oscar contender, buddyboy.. it's just a normal action movie.
