Never. First time I even touched something with alcohol still in it, I was 17 and moved a couple bottles of beer off a small fridge we had so I could move it into the basement. Have held drinks for people and that's about it. Woo.
Usually once a fortnight but over the last two months it's been every week. Lots of birthday parties. The thing is, I've never really been totally hammered. I just tend to talk, shout and dance ( <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) a lot. Last night I was out at a nightclub with some of my mates. Next Saturday I'm going to my friend's 18th. She's funny as hell when she's drunk.

I have only once been really drunk(purposely, I drank allmost a bottle of cherry wine myself(slowly, during several hours, I didn't want to puke or anything) while playing games, among others HL and MODs, I recorded demos so I could see what it was like when I wasn't drunk anymore, boy did I stink after 3/4 bottle of wine, it's like your brain is getting packet loss and >.5 second ping times and your short term memory is severely fu**** up ). <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Other than that I only drink a glass or two of wine when it's somebody's birthday.

I dont know why people drink these days, if it was not so socially acceptible it would have been banned due to how harmful it is.
A long time ago the europeans had the good idea of steralizing thier water with it and it sort of went from there, asians had the good idea of boiling it ^^ if I remember right thats where it all started.
Believe me your not missing much. More than a glas or two of wine simply feels bad, it's incredibly much like your brain is lagging behind and slightly worse balance.

I've never been drunk, and I'm glad for it. I've never had more than a glass of wine, and it's really unpleasant on an empty stomach, like I move my head, and my vision follows .25 of a second later. Bleh.
drunk? -really- drunk? only once. they had to call an ambulance apparently, I woke up the next morning with a gigantic gap in my memory :/ here's a tip for all you people: DON'T drink a bottle of vodka on an empty stomach.

Hardly ever get anywhere near drunk really.... Only time i have been COMPLETELY hammered was my 18th birthday party where a couple of girls i know decided to get me a double vodka and then a triple vodka - my first EVER vodka/spirits. Lets just say i was pretty much flat on my back about 40 minutes later. Suprisingly woke up without a hangover aswell....
Still, i'll go out and have a few beers with my mates when i have money, the drinks are cheap (went out on Tuesday and got 4 pints for £5 - average cost of a pint normally is £2.10), or someone else is paying.
And I'm going to second that drinking Vodka (any amount, never mind a full bottle) on an empty stomach is a VERY VERY bad idea.
With school being out, my friends and I have been on this mission to stay drunk here in miami beach every two days. Usually its a bottle of sauza or cuervo tequila, a bottle of grey goose, or some good old jack daniels. I blame it on the fact I'm half cuban and half scottish.
well except last saturday because 2 stupid drunk college kids started a huge fight over who was on the table for pong next and the party got broken up. So we went to the beach at like 1130 and drank alittle there.
but i do think drinkings overrated. Though its absolutly the most funnest thing you could do with people.
For me to get drunk, it'd have to be with at least one friend...and I don't go outside for weeks at a time. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
btw. this may sound a bit stupid but... does the English language have a word for the stage before "drunk" ? you know, when you're woozy but still have a rough idea of what you're doing?
Only ever been truly drunk once and of course it was on my 21st, I didn't know a whole lot about acholol before I went out, and thusly I drank what tasted good. Since then I have learned not to consume anything that contains the words "Long island ice tea" in multiples above four. :-)
