As you might have heard it will soon be possible to give "steam friends" limited access to games, which YOU have bought.
This seems to work through the steam friend network.
The first game to use this system is going to be DoD:S.
This means, that I (as owner of DOD:S) can give one of you forum junkies my guess pass.
It also means, that forum members could use their passes to grant other forum members access to certain games.
What I wanne start now is a list, where people can donate guest passes and other members can claim them.
In order to do this with minimal account info transfer i suggest the following system:
The donor makes a singly post, stating what kind of guest pass he wants to donate.
Example:

Anyone interested then just calls a claim, by quoting the donors offer and then simply writing claim beneath it.

The donor then decides which forum member he want to give his pass and updates his initial post accordingly.

The rest (exchanging steam account names, so they can add themselves to the friend lists and then transfer the pass) should be done via PMs in order to ensure that there will be no invite spamming etc.
As soon as guest pass goes live I will donate mine.

But, in case I'm wrong. I should have a guest pass for any game that allows them since I've got every game on steam. Will update with specifics when I know them.

I think the idea is good but self posting/managing is going to make a mess. I really don't think it'll work after you get to around 3 pages.
