<div class="IPBDescription">second in commander to manage large games</div>Just throwing this idea around, but something like an assistant commander, or a sergeant, to help the commander out in larger games? Commander drops a smaller command terminal someone in the base, and from here, maybe the sergeant would have better control of combat squads and tactics, while the commander focuses on stuff like strategy, alien detection, and technology management? Being obsolete in smaller games, this would only show up in something larger than maybe 8 vs. 8?

Maybe a squad leader role ala BF2/2142 would be beneficial, but they should be able to operate on the fly, rather than having to sit in a control terminal.
