    dont touch a vanilla ns server...
    dont install any plugins... except /stuck
    /res isnt needed anymore coz of 3.2 ...

    It's a 3.1 server (*shock*) and I've got my reasons.

    Huh, maybe they could stick /stuck in as a standard feature.
    Perhaps even a readyroom blocker + teamswitch
    (i.e. Can't go to readyroom, but can switch to the other team, if teams aren't balanced)
    Crab's Map Manager is also quite a nice plugin.

    Grey dont forget about xmenu because it is great and balances CO exponentially.

    Why shouldnt these plugins be included, just look at all the great features we've got from plugins:

    PG knock back
    blockscripts
    armory health
    /res
    Free upgrades

    For CO, the only thing I see as absolutely neccisary is spawn immunity.
    Spawn camping is no fun.

    And how would you implent it?

    1 second wouldnt help.
    2 seconds is enough for a skulk that needs to get close to a marine.
    3 seconds is enough to kill a heavy armored marine.

    There are some great plain vanilla servers listed here - good to see that.

    Consider though that many servers have non-game altering plugins installed which would play just as well. I woul't bother to list them all - just stop by the modNS Community Forums. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />
