When NS2 will be out can you still use the same cdkey as the one we are using now?
Or will NS2 have its own cdkey?

    The copy protection method included with NS2 has not been announced yet, but because NS2 will not be a mod for the half-life 1 engine, it is impossible (or at least *highly* unlikely) to use your half-life 1 CD key.

    It's going to be a stand-alone retail game, you will be able to buy it off steam, and IF they decide to sell it through the shops, then it will come with it's own CD key.

    It's similar to what 'The Ship' did. It's based on the source engine, but its not a mod. You just buy it off steam.
