<div class="IPBDescription">some sounds do not take over the command "VOLUME"</div>I have a problem with the Sound.
When I change in the Settings (Settings/Sound) an make minimum
on the Slider I hear the backgroundsounds all the time. When I close
NS I hear the sounds too, but it stops 5-10secs later. My comp. is ok.
There are no bugs with my hardware. I don't know the name of my
onboard-sound now. I hope you can help me. My friend have this problem too.

It isn't a problem with music, only the sounds that are mp3 I think.
Possible is that the entity "target_mp3audio" isn't hooked up with the sound slider.

That is true, and its been a long time problem. My solution has been to delete the mp3 files from the NS folder.

Are there some other ways to kill that bug, because i don't want to delete the .mp3.
It will destroy in some areas the ambience.

A other way is to edit all the soundfiles and lower their volume.
