NS video competition entry!

<div class="IPBDescription">Vote for NS in 2006!</div>An Aussie gaming TV show, <a href="http://www.abc.net.au/tv/goodgame/" target="_blank">Good Game</a> is running a video article competition. Submission closed a few weeks back. I got a pretty good video in on time that's all about NS. It's all shot ingame and edited together demi-professionally. I pimp ausns.com and nsplayer.net, pay out on combat and mention NS2.

Now, the prize is a fairly kickarse boxen and the winner, I think, is decided by an <strike>sms</strike> online vote. The task I set for this fine community is to watch the show, on ABC2 at 8:30 on a Tuesday night and vote for my video when (if?) it comes on!

Why? You ask?

Because if my competition wins three things will happen: A) Hugebig publicity for NS, and B) I'll be able to put some more leet hardwares in -/AUS/- Tinman from my current box and make it a better NS server.

Oh and C) I get a kickarse boxen. But that doesn't matter because I'm so freaking selfless like that.

If you don't have digital TV, you can download the episodes for free from that site linked above, about 80 megs, at about 0900 GMT which is a fair time before the show actually airs.

Wewts! I hope my video got shortlisted.

    Unfortunately not. I signed a form from the ABC that says I can't release the video publically until the final episode of the show. After it airs I'll up it to google video and/or youtube.

    It seems likely that the winner of the comp is decided by the good game staff, not by a poll.
