New chamber for dynamic infestation?

Maybe this is a chance to introduce a new chamber into NS. One that is kinda needed, IMO. The infestation chamber.

This chamber would be buildable no-matter what (So it acts like an OC, not a DC or MC, where its tied to a hive) and upon being built; generates a rather large area of infestation. When the aliens are in the presence of the chamber and infestation; they get a damage or armor boost.

This would help the aliens hold down chokepoints or important locations, without having to rely on Movement and Defense Chambers.

Besides, it would look really ###### cool.

    Maybe they could have a cerebral connection with this chamber if a marine walks upon the creep and the khaara is close(within a set radius) setting of bells and whistles. It could serve as nothing more than extending the creep and a early warning system. Other than that, it would deter from upgrading simply because as long as you remained on the creep you could reap the benefits of camping it out and letting the creep creep as it were. That and the other chambers would be lessen that already offer these benefits.

    Dont think it would need its own chamber. Tieing it to everything would make more sence to me, but of course some structures could make it grow faster within it's radius than others.

    SC chambers(if in ns2) could be excluded, seeing a random patch of infestation growing with no structures to be seen would be a dead give away of sc <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    Yeah a chamber to expand the creep would be great, keep dropping em at the edge the creep and watch it grow............you expect 1 hive to expand all across the map? As I have said before in another post, the creep should offer nothing more than an area for chamber building, a protien mass that the chambers draw from in order to grow. And maybe a SC wouldn't cause the creep to cloak..........that would be a dead give-away if it did..............rather the sc cloaks anything but the creep.

    It would make 'SENSE' would it not?
