    Hive 1 armor is the worst (if we don't count the no hive armor).
    I think hive 2 armor is the most balanced.

    the most balanced is the one where you have hive 1 armor when you have 1 hive, hive 2 armor when you have 2 hives... do i need to keep going

    jsut a quike question/request if some one has the time and the know how, i noticed in the wip 3.2 changes log there are images of certain structures and there hit boxes, can i please get a copy or a refrance to a location that shows, all the alien structures and there hit boxes or maybe even every alien type, structure marine type and so on, mainly i am curious but i think it would help me with a suggestion or two if i had sum evidence

    also the rien res node hit boxes, does this mean sulks will beable to move thru out and under the body of the modle now, or does this mean it wil lbe much easyer for a rine to shoot said alien, thru the res tower?

    Ooow EDIT,,, note love the changes and grats mouse and a few other big names who got NEW MAPS into ns for us all gg

    Yeah, I wonder how that update works. Will we have the best armor at start now or will we be stuck with the worst armor throughout the entire round? <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Yeah I know but what kind of armor is it? Hive3, 2, or 1?

    They have what would be called 'hive one armor' in NS 3.1.

    'hive one armor' = the kind of armor you get with 1 hive. is there something about the word 'one' that confuses you?

    I have a feeling the constant 1 hive armor is gonna make it really hard for aliens to perform comeback-wins.

    Okay, I'll bite <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skulk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::skulk::" border="0" alt="skulk.gif" /> . I've been playing NS for years now, and have <b>never</b> heard of 'hive one armor'.

    There is 0/1/2/3 dc carapace. What is 'hive one armor'?

    To my knowledge there are no automatic armor changes as soon as the 2nd hive goes up. Or is something secret happening in the background?

    So...

    <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Bindable alien movement abilities (blink, leap, charge)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Finally, a little of a long waited suggestion implemented <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> (Next: all aliens abilities is one key attack like AvP ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> )

    <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Added teleport feature to hives
    Players may now use an active hive to be teleported to the next hive with an 0.8 second cooldown per player.
    If a player uses a growing hive, it triggers 'The Enemy Approaches' Alert and makes it available for both hive and mc teleportation.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    This feature will help to protect the growning hive... even if the hive is far.
    ...but hive teleport have a long cooldown compared to phase gate (only 0.4 second).

    <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Removed the hive-based armor bonus. Aliens now have "hive one armor" throughout the game.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Onos will lose 300 effective HP at hive 2...
    This is a big nerf on highter lifeforms at hive 2...

    <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Jetpack cost tweaks (to make the JPs less risky as a strategy)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    I fear for this one, since JP are hard to counter for aliens (unless aliens have 3 hives)...

    It was implemented a while ago, I don't remember when though. Currently (3.1), a 0 or 1 hive alien has armor absorb 70% of the damage, and 2 points of damage take away 1 point of armor. At two hives, armor absorbs 80% of damage, and it takes 2.5 damage to take away 1 point of armor. At 3 hives, it's 90% and 3 points of damage.

    cause aliens were slightly overpowered, and its prolly not as confusing this way for new players
