Welp, I got the game in the mail today and my stepdad had the pleasure of tossing the package at my crotch while I was sleeping. rofl

I got my two promotions and I'm ready to roll.

Plan on being an Engineer. Always loved that class.

    Unlocked all my engineer items and weapons.

    <3 my tracking and emp mines.

    hahaha. this poor walker was walking backwards trying to shoot at my two mines that was following him. He failed to shoot the mines. >:]

    I just unlocked my preferred weapon, the Haur(Assault Heavy-Type Weapon). That combined with my supreme skills at being a medic make me awesome.

    Note: It becomes hard as hell to equip items once you become a squad leader with a decent amount.

    I had that problem too. But then I opened all the ports they said to open and it worked

    I wish it used subcatagories like HL.

    1 For Knife
    2 For Pistol/EngiSub
    3 For Primary Weapons(Obvious ones, plus attachements like shotguns/rockets)
    4 for Grenades, Mines
    5 for Secondary Items, such as the Defib, Medic, Ammo, Repair.
    6 For Squad Leader Things.

    Talesin (or =HH=Talesin with my old Q2 clantag).

    How did folks end up with two unlock ranks out of the box? Got my BF2 vet status, but nothing more.


    Also, look out for anyone driving around in a Jeep with the horn going. Jihad Joe is back in action, and works to take out even walkers. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> Sadly, I seem to be unable to find my posterior with both hands in regards to sniping. A standing-still target took four shots to kill while the player was AFK. :b Anyone know if there's a better zoom function?
    Otherwise I'll be stuck in the railgun antitank turret, sniping foot soldiers, or riding shotgun on an APC. <3 having a sensitivity quick-adjust right on the mouse. ^_^

    Now for more practice with the flying vehicles... have a joystick, but I think my keybinds for throttle are screwy. :b

    Been playing recently under the name Morgana, my Assault soldier. Have to go catch Talesin up now... still no fun as a Scout other than jihad-jeeping. A notable lack of any kind of in-close weapon (pistol doesn't count) makes the RDX demopacks useless for anything else, and I can't seem to score a headshot for love nor money. Even Engineer is more useful, as they get an SMG at least.

    Quauanaut, what's your in-game name? If it isn't obvious of course.
