NS closes upon connection to a server.

I know this is just the general forums .. I just dont know if there are enough people that will see this if I place it in the bug/tech forums.

I can no longer play NS for some reason. After putting a brand new install of NS on a machine thats never before had it installed, I attempt to play. Upon "Verifying resources ..." my game then just dumps me to the desktop.

I can create a server just fine and join that ok.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? :/

    Remove IE7beta. There's actually a recent thread in the Tech Support forum about this (similar enough, anyway).

    qft no matter how many ideals IE steals from firefox, firefox is still a nice build and with MOST bugs worked out, why on earth do people even stilll use IE I dunno.
