hey.. decided to resurect an old map but I've lost my lights.rad file.. also the ns.hull file.
I'm rebuilding the lights.rad but I'm having trouble nailing the yellow/goldish light in this pic... (old screens from this map) can anyone take a guess what color it is, thats the only color I can't get down. thanks.

and if anyone can send me the ns.hull file I'd appreciate it

The first is the lighting, the placement of the lights is great but it just comes across as really bland. Perhaps some added colour to some of those lights (red or orange would look good in this case I think).
Also that pipe in the middle of the hallway Looks really out of place. The 2 90* turns it makes is probably the problem. Instead of having the middle section maybe you could put a piece of architecture in place (think like a covered junction of pipes or something).
**edit** just realized you didn't have the old rad file, keep working on those lights you'll figure it out soon enough <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

or
zhlt.wad, comes with the zhlt3.4 tools
32 32 72

into an empty txt file and name it nshulls.hul
I see the following textures in my zhlt.wad
B - bevel
H - hint
N - null
S - skip
there used to be a texture labeled invis for like the edges of partial transparent textures like wires... or the texturelights.
Digging trough files:
I just had a look inside the original half-life.wad. Theres is a texture called {blue, but that only works on entitties set to solid. I don't see a texture called invis. But I'm pretty sure that null can be used on those faces too, as long as it doesn't touch the void you're safe
