After 1995 it was never really the same, with Gene Wars a good concept but with flawed gameplay and Hi-Octane a fun but short-lived experience.
Gas Powered Games + Cavedog is really what I should say. They're my favorite due primarily to Total Annihilation. Dungeon Siege is OK -- not really my cup of tea. However, Chris Taylor just strikes a chord with me -- seems like the kind of guy who is really in the business because he loves it.
