I'm keeping an eye out for it, althought I'm not fanatic about it, due to never having played TA before.
I don't know, it's also partly due to the fact that it just seems like it's all about building a huge amounts of units, and sending them at each other. I grew up with Dune 2 and Starcraft, and micro heavy games seem so much more involving to me.

Main thing that appeals to me about SupComm is the huge scale of it. Sure, micromanagement is all good, (what RTS lover doesn't love Starcraft?), but the huge epicness of TA is what appeals to me about SupComm.
anybody care to explain what SupComm is? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />
I was addicted to TA for about 3 years. Of COURSE I'm waiting for Sup Comm. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
TA is the funniest RTS in history (with the possible exception of WC2). I'm really waiting forward to it.
Last time i played TA was 4 hours ago vs a friend of mine. That game really is awesome. (lets flash rush on painted desert or play GoW and go pels+skeeters kekeke?!)

So, has everyone checked out TA Spring in the meantime? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Spring came out way too late for me to be interested. I'd been playing 3-4 years by that time and am pretty much done with TA. The replay tool and the draw-on-map capabilities the Yankspankers added were incredible though. And of course, I was a part of the group responsible for BSR's Uberhack.

Old bitmap brothers game, where if you sent guys who were low tier against higher tier, they'd let you know that it was a crazy idea and stuff like that, it was one of the first strategy games to not use a hex grid. Most of the terrain was destroyable also, if you couldn't get past someones army on the road, get your tanks to blow holes in the mountains <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

It was awesome - the "region" resource system thing seems to be coming back in Company of Heroes.

Steel Soldiers was also great, quite buggy though.
Wich "Z" game is this, when it comes in a 350mb disk. Is it steel solderis or the original 2D strategy game (wich rocks btw) because the latter came on 3 floppys or so iirc.

The original 2D strategy game.
Downloaded and played it again earlier - was awesome, better than I remember it.
OMG this game really looks like TA ^^ I'm waiting for it too !
btw it's like to Dune Empereor too, or a mix of both. Gonna be fun <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

EDIT- Size is due to cutscenes, I believe.
