There could be an upgrade that is like SOF except you can hear and see a concentric wave of sound coming from their hearts. A lone marine's heart will beat much louder than a group of them which will encourage teamplaying on the marine side.

Good idea, the aliens cant hear the marines, because they have other ears/ other appreciation.
So if a marine say "i need ammo" the alien hear a spezific sound <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Truthfully unless every sound is exactly the same this is just another layer to the aliens which new people have to get through in order to play the game. So unless there's a trainer (please god) which goes over the specific sounds this absolutely can’t come into the game because it'll scare new people away.

Now with that being said i love the idea as an advanced player who enjoys every little environmental detail in the game. Hell, more would only make me happier personally.
