<div class="IPBDescription">Serious...</div>My life is over, I'm a beta tester for cs 1.4 and found out they made the game unhookable, and thats where my life ends, I dont cheat for counter strike, but the thing is, all of my fav mods is unhookable, because it stops cheating, so no one can use the cheats from cs or tfc, but... after the release of cs 1.4 the cheaters will propably find a way thru the unhookable system in a couple of weeks, and so all my favourite mods will include cheaters aswell, my god the cs crew is ruining for all of us, bah!

Please excuse my ignorance, but what exactly does it mean when a game is "unhookable"?

hmmm... doesnt it mean that magically you cant track characters using an outside program, therefore no tracking hitboxes(autoaim) or no tracking char you can't see anyways (wallhacking) ??

Actually, I'm fairly sure that it means that programs that will connect into the game (something like PunkBuster or Cheating Death or any of those hack programs) cannot be run at the same time as the game.  Some code or something will stop the game from launching or working, I guess.

yah cant hook anything with it, nothing at all, its like: you cant run scripts. you cant run admin mod, anything that interfears with gameplay cant be run, but I bet the cheaters wont use long to get thru it, arrrr crap

don't worry...If they impliment the flame thrower, I find that, in most games, damage over time beats invul cheats. plus the flame thrower would blind them and make them unable to shoot <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

In gore, if someone was cheating you could kill them with flamethrower. This game will have a flame thrower. If someone cheats in this game you could probally kill them with the flame Thrower. Damage Over Time screws over anti-damage scripts.
