Im not usually the one to seek for graphics card advice, but I have had alot of trouble lately keeping up with the graphics card trend. Over the past year or so 2 of my ATI 9800 pro's broke, and I have been stuck with my dads geforce 5700LE. He now wants his card back, so I need some suggestions for a new card which is in the price range of 70-100 Pounds (just under $200). Just dont suggest a 9800 pro to me.

I'm using a PCI-E Sapphire X700, works mighty well so far (runs Riddick, Doom 3, Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2, Painkiller etc. fine at 800x600/1024x768, lots of stuff on, no AA). I can't speak for the AGP line in terms of price or performance, but performance can't be that far off and I got mine for under $200.

Isn't the next geforce 7 line supposed to be coming out? Probably their Mid and Low end 7-series cards. I was thinking about the 6600GT but if the 7600GT comes out why not get that.

    XFX GeForce 6800 > $170 > Newegg

    PNY Geforce 6600GT > $156 > Newegg

    Powercolor X800 > $175 > Newegg

    Sapphire X700 Pro > $130 > Newegg
