Managed To Install But Dnt Know How To Start

You've probably installed NS to an incorrect location. Uninstall NS from the Add/Remove programs list then reinstall to:

[Steam install dir]\SteamApps\[Account name]\half-life\

NOT

[Steam install dir]\SteamApps\[Account name]\half-life\<b>ns\</b>

you cant play ns without half-life, so install and play half-life first.
