Promoting porn hosting on your home page part of your value added professionalism plan? Out of line in my opinion. Couldn't find an AUP or a TOS to speak of, I don't know who would buy a server without knowing exactly what the rules are. How much of your "gig-e lines" do you have access to? Or were we supposed to believe that you're paying a few hundred million a year for bandwidth? Gig-E stands for gig Ethernet, Ethernets are usually high speed internal networks possibly linked between a few cities, but alwasy have slower to-home connections leading off of them, am I in a city near your gig-e network? Are your gig-e lines over subscribed? *shrug* How about servers, got any specs for us, or average loads, 3 servers per machine, 4 per machine? I'm a consumer, I don't want ambiguity I was solidity and predictability. Why do AdminMod, HL guard, and other non load intensive mods (which are mainstream features) cost more? StatsMe is MAYBE justifiable because it takes about 15 minutes to parse about a months worth of logs to get stats generated.

You have to remember that we are consumers, corporate greed (not implying you) has forced most of us to be savvy buyers, and being one I don't see anything overly appealing here at this offering. Having a largely unfinished unpolished website doesn't help either. Maybe I'm being a bit rash, but things like this irritate me. Another classic case of rush-to-live?

I am not even worried about all of that Bilko. What concerns me the most is that most game server companies have stated that they will not host an NS server until it gets down in the CPU usage area. A NS server takes about 3 - 4% of CPU per player. For comparison a CS server uses 5% of CPU with 18 players on. This means that most places will only rent you a dedicated server which is about $365 a month.

I think after he runs a test server he may say that he can't do it.

Yeah, I hear yeah, cheapest place I've seen that sells dedicated servers is rackshack.net

Guess they figured out they can't support NS either.

Yes I use them to host my NS server.

The setup fees also bugged me, the answer: their bargain basement.

Check it daily, they put servers in there with $1 setup... mmm the goodness of it all

Notice how our 1 time poster never returned to defend the allogations placed against him? Apparently he figured Bilko knew what he was talking about and decided to jet or just go smart and went to spam another forum.
