You have less than 2 weeks to get in!
If you are a pub community or a group of friends that play ns together, or someone who hasn't been outside their parents basement in 7 months, you should know that CAL season 7 is starting!

Apparently some people thought I was kidding. When something is posted on the front page that means you should probably follow it to the dot. The schedules are up.
For those teams who were removed from a division:
1.) You might want to consider recruiting more players if you want to avoid forfeiting.
2.) NO NEW TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO JOIN AFTER WEEK 2.(8/12/05)
3.) From this point on. 1 Forfeit loss and you will be removed from division. You maybe put back in only by the permission of a admin. A 2nd forfeit loss will prevent you from entering the league until next season.
4.) Talk to a admin if you would like to be placed back into a division. As promised you will NOT be scheduled for this week.
5.) Map list is completed. The version number of eon will probably change but we will give you 2 weeks notice of any changes before the match week.
6.) There will be a config update and a HLTV update this week. Please check back tuesday night.

As you can see, Hsu has just announced that no new teams can join after week 2. So if you have a team but were waiting for whatever reason to join, please light a fire under your bum.

Don't know if _tweed will be playing this season, though.
k.
Yes, there were a massive amount of forfiets in week3 - more than just 7.
By the way, don't CAL charge for entry now?
Oh well, yeah. sign up.

Anybody remember season 6 where more than half the matches played in omega were forfeits?
I'm not hyperbolizing. I'm dead serious it was more than 50%
The stricter rules are a god send. Its better to have 20 or less teams playing than 30 teams with ten constantly forfeiting.
The two week registration deadline is really an excellant decision too. Teams joining around week 4 were messing things up as badly as forfeits were. Which is why I posted this, to make sure people who were thinking about joining know about this new rule and get in earlier than they would otherwise.
