Before ye of little sympathy for the Box crawl out of your hiding places, this is too early to speculate about platform exclusivity.
My thoughts, in compressed form, are "They better live up to the SNES one."

Or should I say nerdgasm?
So its like Matrix Online & WoW at the same time?
QFT.
as far as online games go, think Neocron, only much cooler. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
That can be debated. Shadowrun is damn cool, in any case.
Shadowrun is definately awesome. i just never found anyone to play it with.
That about sums it up.
Genesis not so much.
But the SNES version, WOW now that was a hot dish.
Never played the RPG though.

... though if it's XB, this means I'm going to have to find someone that has one...
In any case, they'd better include Riggers. Tons of fun to play, if you don't solely concentrate on being transportation... tack four or five drones to the back of the APC, and send 'em in with the meat.
And I can only shudder to think of how they'll do decker ops and combat. I'm already disappointed, honestly. How can they hope to encompass all of the creativity? I already know that they won't let me make my dwarf rigger and his army of rigged JIM suits with anthropomorphic attack-drones riding around inside.
Changing tracks, I ended up swapping between Shadowrun, Battletech/Mechwarrior/Aerotech, and Rifts... depending on what my group wanted to run with. Though I'd say that the BT/MW/AT games were bar-none the hardest to orchestrate, and fell into the biggest squabbles... especially when we swapped over from the mechwarrior RP side into the miniatures BT/AT. Rifts just ended up getting plain silly half the time, as at least one of my players would nuke the Triax troops with a strawberry milkshake-filled cruise missile. But Shadowrun actually stayed on track about half the time, with a laptop loaded with the decker tools and rigger quicksheets.

Talesin, do you ever read any of your posts? <span style='color:white'>Good question you asked here. Better question: Why are you?</span>
There's a small post stating that it will be made, that's it, how about you wait for a little, y'know, fact to come along before you start making ill-informed opinions on a game that doesn't even exist yet.
Also, the X-Bucks thing, that's awesome, it's just like putting a $ in Microsoft. And yes, that makes you both big <i>and</i> clever.
FIRST PERSON SHOOTER
There's no way you can encompass all of Shadowrun into a world similar to Deus Ex (the first), can you? At least not on a profitable timetable?
It'll be fast, only let you be one certain class, and not really be that immersive.
Hopefully they will release ShadowRun Commander after the third installment. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
(I was being sarcastic about the hopefully, and I highly doubt the game will receive the production values we gamers hope and pray for)
I was a big fan of Shadowrun, and Battletech... will be loving this alot
On another note <a href='http://www.shadowrunrpg.com/products/product.php?i=26000&title=Shadowrun+Fourth+Edition' target='_blank'>Shadowrun 4th edition</a> is coming. It will supposedly feature drastically revised rules, go look around in the FAQ section for SR4 for some insight on the changes.
Sadly me and my chums won't be able to play our favorite chars ... the deserted element of german comabt divers ... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
