<div class="IPBDescription">my map =P</div> i am not realy good on mapping, but i'm trying! (my english is bad too...)

I want some help... if anyone want to create some rooms, or make/aplicate the textures to me, cuz i realy don't like put textures...

    Looks pretty good for a beginner map, and after looking in that brazilian thread I'd definitely say that you need to learn to use more then one texture. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Try bringing in some lighting variation. Use some light_spots and texture lighting to give good affects.

    zenzen (also know has lzz) send me carioca (also know has folk) his source of this map to me finish since he doesnt more playing ns if i put him in the credits to. so i start remake the main areas of the map a year ago and stoped some months before but now im show the work i did.
    i keep improve the map in slow progress and i pass a year out of ns waiting news in ns and the ns source since thsi taking so much time to come i decide give a try again.

    yeah thats very cool and different looking compared to most maps i remember

    From the screens, this map has fantastic potential. But also from the screens, the lighting needs almost a complete reworking.

    Set you env_gamma to 1.7, for starters. Then, any room that is too dark, add in some well-placed spotlights, and keep or add in new themes with the colours. Then, any room that is too bright (since your rooms already look either too bright or too dark, and the gamma will only enhance that), remove 3/4s of the texlights, and repeat the first step.

    It'll take a bit of time to perfect, but it'll be infinitely better looking. If you want additional pointers for how to do all that, or any questions at all, feel free to ask.

    Keep up the work though <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />. Lets see a release.

    i think spotlights are also bit annoying to make even than they look million times better than original light.
    As light_spot doesnt generate opposite light to the lamp where its placed so have to make that flat, additive rendered texture brush to make the lamp realistic glow. Yeah thats actually very simple but id always finded that slow frustrate

    StixNStonz, i will do some test with a range of colors to make it more interesting but not to make so strange and colorfull.
    i try keep more human like but in the hive i will put some new colors to say here is the hive.
    And i`m glad for the chance to ask when the need comes i will.

    nice tip nogoodnickname, maybe i will take some time to discovery it or if i discover. i will test it to see.

    And now what interest:
    i start rework the area in the old map. That is a room in the middle way to hive, because the size i`m taking more time than hallways. The work are in a 30% of the brush work. Slow down taking the shape of what will be. I`m to trying keep some nice stuffs like size e some neat brush work so only increasing detail and textures. my work is too much simetric could be this 30% be almost 50% because i like mirror the brush work and remake in slight changes.

    the hives are not done yet just atach to have pratice test with aliens in the map.
    the not conect area is a hive where i`m rebrushing it to atach in the end of the main way.
