You can add the texture to your lights.rad, that will make the texture itself give off light and appear fullbright. Or you can add another small light in addition to your spotlight. Relic25's website describes another technique for making parts of a texture appear to glow.

Gamma ramps of more than 2 have no effect (so i'm told).

Looks a lot better than anything I'm doing...sigh, anyway. Does anyone know how to make those decals see through? like those vines that have blue and black with them? How do you make only the vines visible so you can see through the blue and black parts?

the black can't "really" be taken out but you can set it to additive which brightens light parts and darkens black parts (actualy it leaves black out) but that won't look right cuase you'll see through the texture.

If the textures name starts with a "{" however it can be set to rendermode_solid and then you set render_amount to "2" and Then the blue is removed.

And thank you for your kind comments, i've not done a floor plan yet and I'm just working on the ready room trying to figure out my style. I've not released a map in the entire 3 years I've been serious mapping... I hope that I do finish and release this map.
