Setting A Time Limit

<div class="IPBDescription">all admin please to read</div> Just a suggestion, but please put a time limit on your servers.
It can be a long one, like 1 hour, but please put one. Its kind of bad to leave after 4 hours on the same map because no team has won after that long.

the map limit is not like that. what happens is the min time a map can be played is X if you have 3 games on that one map in X amount of time so be it. There isn't a a way to limit how long games can be played, and personally i would like to keep it that way. I want the games on my server to finish.

I think it would be good to have an optional maximum time limit for a match. I just played a 3 hour match last night and it sucked. Let the server admin decide if he wants his games to go completion (regardless of duration) or end after some fixed time. I know which way I would do it but I understand some folks would prefer the other way.

I understand that, but the 3 hours games rock, because its so hard, but thats just my personal opinion

Is it possible to limit the time of the round? (other then manually changing the map etc. with admin commands). The time limit won't stop a round, it waits till the round finishes before changing the map.

Might be something for a future version I guess.

Great you do it the way you want on your server and I'll do it my way on mine:)
Of course they would have to implement this before I could.

Having the server admin be able to decide for himself whether the game will have a maximum time on a map (regardless of victory) would really help keep both sides happy. Some people like having a 3 hour stalemate, other people find it to be extremely boring. Install Clanmod or something like that so the Clients can vote on a map.
If a map gets enough votes it will change.

But I kinda like the 3 hours games because its so balanced between the teams that its much more fun.
