<div class="IPBDescription">Shooting Skulks isnt working</div> If blood splurts, it means you hit the target, right?

Ive shot skulks 10-12 times, and end up getting eaten, then other people go and shoot them down like nothing.
THEN, i go to alien team, i go and run to someone.I see my health shift twice and im dead.
What the hell?

By the way, these are LMGs im talking about.
Even lv3 weapons arent working.Shotty's dont kill them for me either.

You do realize there is a higbox bug/ registration problem if your rates are too high, right? Please think before randomly slapping keys

try rate 25000 cl_cmdrate 40 cl_updaterate 50. Lower them by 10 each except rate and leave it where you get the best hitreg.

This may be explained by simple logic. First, I can assume you are new to the game and therefore, are likely to miss. Second, there is lag when you are playing online and it probably occurs to you. Third, the enemy is probably better than you or has better upgrades.

combine all these factors and you got the reason why you are not hitting.

I doubt he is referring to hitting in the sense your thinking I am pretty sure he is talking "I am seeing bullets pass into the model but the target is not taking hits"

were you playing a co map?, if you were then that server prolly had extra levels and the person prolly had much life from buying upgrades

He said he saw blood come out so he was hitting the skulkand the lag factor would not explain why they are not killing the skulks at all you would expect some random kills.

My adivce its to first try killing a stationary skulk by going onto a server with 2-3 players and telling them your problem. They can then help you out by letting you shoot them a couple of times to see if its a bug or lag or what ever. Also try leading your target a little, I find that when I'm on the US servers (im from NZ) I tend to do a little better when I lead my targets to compensate for my ping. When you have any problem cheak your ping so you can quote the number when asking for help. keep at it NS is well worth the time.

To some of the others, if you can't say something consrtuctive and helpful to the new players don't say anything at all.
