By the way, you don't need to know the product inside-out to do customer service, you need to be patient and personable. Any dimwit can learn the bosses by name. But find someone who'll stay polite after having banned fifteen money farmers in a row. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Money farming? What is this financial agriculture you speak of? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Using bots, or somthing to get stuff, then sell that in game stuff for real money. It makes MMORPG's not a lot of fun some times...

Wow, so many replies so little to report.

Ok, I got up this morning and decided not to check my emails until I had re-installed World Of Warcraft. er, it crashed on Disc 4 and I had to leave the house to get to my JobCentre interview. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
When I got there I told them about the phone-call, they cut the interview short and let me go. (In and out in 5 mins flat. <-- Tempted to put that in your sig? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

So now I sit in the back of my friends shop trying to remember my password to access my email from here... it's a random series of letters and numbers so there's no way i'm getting in from here.

I'll be in here until 5:30pm... from here I go straight to my friends house for Pizza, Poker and possibly pie. Well, 2 outta 3 ain't bad. (Pizza + Poker.)

I won't get home until at least midnight, at which point I shall check my emails, join #nsbf2 (maybe #ns too) and update this topic.

As for Rhapsody, no Doomy its not a streaming service of any kind. Rhapsody are a band... Italian I think.... who have some great songs and some utter crap ones.
(Someone linked to a video in their sig for a clan video, SGS or something, and they used "Dawn Of Victory" as one of the tracks.)

Working from on the GM position would be awesome but I guess security is pretty strict on things like this. Blizzard probably see it as a case of, if any of our employee's do something we don't like they're in the same building so we can go throw staplers at them.

If Blizzard <b>do</b> offer me the job then i'm 70% likely to take it.
I'm not too keen on leaving my friends, family, loved ones and cat behind but I chat to most of them on MSN/TeamSpeak more than in real life anyway!

There's like 20 reasons to go... and 4 to stay........

More random babble from me later.

    Thanks for the comments, especially the positive ones <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Just please, amaze me by having any knowledge whatsoever of what you're controlling, and don't go on a power trip. I've had nothing but bad experience with the WoW GM team, and they seem to be largely comprised of College kits on their 'Fisher Price First IT Job™' power trips.

Good luck to you. I wouldn't do it, unless I was running the department so I could give it a swift kick in the genitalia.

    I didn't get it.

I had a nice email from the guy I spoke to thanking me for my time, efforts etc.
    (Which I think was cool)

In all honesty I'm amazed I got down to the phone interviews process.

Ahh well, easy come easy go I guess.

Thanks for the "good lucks" etc boys and girls. It's much appreciated.
The events over the past few days have really made me think twice about how i'm using my life, who I want to see more and who can go take a flying leap because they're dragging me down.... but thats a series of stories for another time.

    Changes are nhy.

    Thanks again folks.
