    looks great,but a few things.

    extend the magazine...I'll accept that as a 100 round magazine the day my cold steel recon tanto can't slice a watermelon in two with one stroke.

    widen the handgrip just a bit,tad too thin as of now.

    and the handgrip/frontal part of the gun needs to be unbulked a bit,kinda like trying to hold/shoot a box <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Not a bad concept. A few changes and it will be pretty good,

    1, The handle looks too thin

    2, The stock looks strange, perhaps study other guns to get a feel on how a stock should look

    3, Try drawing a little bigger, that way you can include more detail and it makes it easier for modelling purposes

    Do you make these pictures in paint or photoshop, because i wouldn't ever be able to do that, well maybe one day.

    Ok,everything in the below red box should be either facelifted up,or eliminated.As for the handgrip...

    <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->vertical handgrip FTW!11!1!1!!!<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    keep the bottom the the magazine where it is when you give it the gun a facelift.

    ok scaled it down a little bit.. what do ya think?
  • Fatal_ErrorFatal_Error Join Date: 2005-01-15 Member: 35840Members
    The magazine is still a bit small. I'd accept that as a 25-30 bullet mag, but no more. It needs a very small amount to be considered for 50 bullets.
  • eSsIxeSsIx Join Date: 2003-09-01 Member: 20472Members
    i could make it like the magazine from Aliens movie were it loads up into the gun..

    Extended Mag for Extended pleasure!
  • Chubi_ChanChubi_Chan Join Date: 2004-08-26 Member: 30924Members
    hmmmm...I'd say just remove everything below the barrel,all the way to the handgrip,and simply create a handguard similar to the m16's,when you remove the magazine houseing and everything,just simply keep the bottom of the magazine where it is,and jsut build up into the new magazine houseing,and if you want,I suggest it,vertical handgrip For The Win...
  • 0xff0xff Join Date: 2003-09-01 Member: 20457Members
    we dpont want it looing like an m16 tho..
  • eSsIxeSsIx Join Date: 2003-09-01 Member: 20472Members
    m16 has a hand guard?
  • Chubi_ChanChubi_Chan Join Date: 2004-08-26 Member: 30924Members
    I'm saying something like the m16's...roundish like it I mean...

    and the m16 has a handGRIP,no handguard though...and yes it does,that roundness before the end of the barrel...where you normally hold it...

    The only problem is that the pulse rifle looks more like a pump-action shotgun than a rifle... >_>
  • Chubi_ChanChubi_Chan Join Date: 2004-08-26 Member: 30924Members
    ...looks like a sawed off SPAS-12 wth some green plastic stuff molded onto it,a different stock,and some decoration added...

    but I do like the handgrip on that...try to use that as a handgrip for this one.

    that avp pulse rifle would be awsome for ns shotty if you remove the magazine!!! maybe minus the top handle part aswell..

    and maybe if that particular pulse rifle wasnt made out of paper <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    i think it looks nice with the short clip, most of it could be inside the lmg <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    yeah,the majority of the magazine would be inside the gun,but that's why I'm trying to get him to push it up,because if your magazine is too far inside your gun,sometimes the recoil and knocking around can damage and bend it.I used to have a hard metal holster for my old texas walker remake revolver and alot of times the drum would get dented,because the drum on the revolver was iron,while the hostler was steel <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Maybe its because the m41a comes with a pump action grenade launcher? D:

    no...the m203 grenade launcher attachment for the m16,m4,and all m16/m4 clones is in no way pump action...the slide that looks like the pump mechanism of a pump action shotgun is pulls forward so as the operator can load a 40mm grenade/special ordinance into the launch chamber.Afterwards he slides back the slide,and switches to m203 off of safety,if already on safety,and proceeds to aim and fire useing the built in trigger...

    (note to self...never use M followed by numbers in a search engine again...EVER...)

    see below image for details on built in trigger...

    noone was talking about the m203.
    the m41-a pulse rifle got an underslung, hand-loaded, 30-mm pump action grenade launcher with an four-round tube magazine.

    the m-41a rifle was built from the parts and components of three firearms.the rifle itself is a World War 2-era Thompson M-1A1 sub-machine gun, the grenade launcher is a Remington Model 870 pump-action shotgun wich is encased inside the shroud and foregrip of a Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun.

    DOH!I read it as M4A1...sorry...I only glanced over the post <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    and is it just me,or is a pump action grenade launcher a bad idea...what if the safety gets switched off by something,and you accidently grab it by the handgrip when you pick it up or hold it by only the handgrip with the stock down...basically you have a VERY unsafe gun...

    I personally perfer the new 40mm grenade launcher for the XM8,has it's own handle (VERTICAL HANDGRIP FTW!) and loads from the sides for those outlandishly long rounds

    <_< the m41 got a seperate trigger for the grenade launcher in front of the magazine..in that tiny hole... this grenade launcher is just as unsafe like every other regular pumpaction shotgun, wich are the most unsafe weapon humankind knows <_<

    and when you handle weapons, you dont "accidently grab" something, if you handle weapons without a lil bit common sense, you deserve to shot yourself

    some useless trivia: the xm8 grenade launcher is , like most other components of the xm8 system, adopted from the g36, in this case the AG-36 grenade launcher module (AG stands for Anbaugranatwerfer(ahn-bow graNAHT verfur), or ‘attachable grenade launcher’).
    <img src='http://yanai.blackmage.org/concepts/concept%20studys/3239-400x400.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

    there are several variants of this system for different plattforms, like the m4.
    <img src='http://yanai.blackmage.org/concepts/concept%20studys/fa_gl_ag36_2.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
    but the sales literature says that the stock AG-36 already fits to the M16,Diemaco C7 and C8 assault rifles with few or no modifications.
    the AG36 fires most all 40mm x 46 low impulse projectiles from less lethal foam rounds to High Explosive "say goodnight" rounds.
