Fires In Nevada
<div class="IPBDescription">Interesting to me</div> I took a break from NS, and flew out to Nevada to work for the summer. I'm living with my grandmother and uncle, who spend alot of time at the casinos, and I'm too young to go, so I just sit at home and troll the forums... etc etc, since I can't play NS.
To make a long story short, 5 days ago there was a storm out here, something you don't see very often. For those of you who live on the west coast, it's alot different than the east, and you can see miiiiiiles away, right? Especially in the desert. Anyway, this storm cause 9 brush fires in my general viewing range that I can see of, 5 days ago, and these fires are still burning and getting increasingly larger by the night.. It's rather interesting to watch come nightfall, because it's actually quite beautiful, though terrifying at the same time.
I grabbed one good picture of it last night, the 4th night of burning, and plan to get more tonight as well. The most magnificent thing is, the surrounding mountains are a good 75-120 miles away, and the fires are still quite visible.

The entire tops of the mountains are engulfed in flame, and it's plain as day to see from here.. maybe not from what the pictures portray, but it's very, very visible.. everything you see that's orange is flame. Haha
(IN A FIRE ALBEIT > LOL)
I remember the fires we had in California, I was wondering if I would ever just wake up to smoke and flames.
Turns out this was on the news, and the town beneath is under some kid of warning for evacuation if it continues to grow... I get to spectate it all, yay.
Any new visual prograssion of the fires?
The mountains you see are in Utah, and it's on all three states' news for nearby citys to keep an eye on these fires. There was also an article on buzzflash.com (Some .. democractic news website I believe, my grandmother follows it.).
Here's the buzzflash article from yesterday about Utah's fires.
