It noticed its still marked as a major bug. Is there a reason for turrents not upgrading damage with weapon levels or is this something left over from earlier versions that would change the game to much so its been left out?

Remember when 2.0 first game out and every turret farmed like mad? yeah...
What about small games then? when you need defense because you cant have 4 marines patrol the whole map?

What about seige maps, most of the team has to leave main base when the seige room opens leave the base defenceless even if we have a huge turret farm
lerks, and friends always
A. End up getting by
or
B. end up destroying the comm chair
Then you don't need as many defences as there aren't that many aliens to defend against.

You're not serious about fundumentally altered the game for siege maps so you can leave the base when seiege room opens.....

But the idea here, CWAG, is that the game should be made roundhouse-balanced. We should give comms the options to either drop shotguns or drop turrets, not favor one over the other because one of them isn't as good.

It says "We need more torrents commando" and it is only funny, when the guy saying it has an extremely high ping, because he his dling smth while playing NS.

Turrets should never be better than shotguns, that isn't fun at all. Turrets should be better in a few specialized area's over shotguns.
But they definately should get better with upgrades. I mean, come on, right now they suck pretty badly. Mabye that will be the boost they need to be more useful.
The alien life doesn't scale like that so why would the survivability?
