<div class="IPBDescription">:)</div> Backstory: During the final hours of the 7-hour war, The combine launched the final offensive by doubling strider deployment and letting loose gunships upon the world. These were the last transmissions recieved from a defeated American transport in convoy with another APC transporting Dr.Breen to declare Earth's surrender. Experts say that this is the result of an attack by a headcrab zombie in a shelled complex all the while, they were being tracked by a gunship.

    I don't mean it's horrible or anything. Don't take it the wrong way. It's just that, scenes like that have no... well... effect.

    You should go for something that stirs a person somehow. This can be accomplished in many ways. For instance you can stir people by presenting them with something that reminds them of something. If they can recognize the subject matter somehow, it becomes more intriguing. Doubly so if it reminds them of something totally unrelated but obviously done on purpose.

    Or you could try to stir them emotionally somehow. That's probably not going to happen with gary's mod, but you can at least create scenes of excitement and action, or scenes of carnage and rage, or even scenes of depression and anxiety; all using the facial expression changer and the thing they have for posture.

    When I look at what you've made, all I think is; "ooh, almost a CS:S screenshot."

    That's no good.

    Well currently what you have is a bunch of soldiers standing around.

    What you need is a bunch of soldiers being mowed down by a gunship or swarmed by headcrabs/zombies. Bonus points if you can make their weapons look like they are firing by using emmiters.

    It's not bad it's just that there's no real content or emotion in the images... There's some guys in a room, then a dead zombie, then a strider, then a car on fire and a dead guy near it. It's well done, but bland. Just needs some expansion is all.

    sorry for the thread necromancy, *T_T i've failed myself* but i'd like to share some more of my pictures that i've made. Perhaps you'd like this more?
    Backstory: A JDF *Japanese Defense Forces * squad patrolling the area came upon creatures with murderous intent. The creatures,so far deemed human hosts, had "controllers" on their heads. Japanese military officials are less than thrilled to have found a creature intelligent enough to ambush the JDF in Jungle-areas
