P.P.S.: Imagine the Cold War. No fire exchange and nukes were a possiblitity. NOw, we go forward to 2467, where its rebel commies and main leading groups, the UERM and the WSMC, with a lot of fire exchange

What story? Give us details. I wouldn't mind making some, as I have a knack for technical writing, but I have no idea what your story is about, or if it's even set in the NS universe.

as for the rest,what in general are you looking for?Your mixing 2 different time frames.Do you want classic AK style weapons in future form,or do you want future weapons in AK form.

the first basically means a laser fireing AK,and 2nd basically means you want us to make TSA styled AK's.

errt, wrong, post cold war middle of a cold war, these guns would of died and been rendered useless with EMP's

were talking no electorins bar, dial tone phones, possible hand reals, bbs systems, no TV, radio is in since emps wont effect capasitors nad resistors, unless there on at the time of the blast

even i nthe year 2243 or some thing its still going to be block and tackle car wintches, and gas compreations spring loaded guns with with hammers, and maybe a slit in the clip to see ya ammo

at this point, i want sevral balanced knifes, a compound bow, and maybe a bearetta M82

belive it or not the machine shotie, and te slayer are the only two that would of surived the inital blast

also theres some things you gotta consiter mid war, the only technogloical advanments are in the key compnents of war, eveyr thing eles around them key advancments down grads to pay for more of hte key advancments in said area of technolgy

so the moment the first bombs droped these thigns would of been rendered usless, pulled apart and re worked, to do a semie job of there former selfs, every gun would be come a custom design, uness you got small groups then the ywould all be hte best custom design by said designer who is convertign hte weapons for said group, you would still see variations between gun to gun, small things but still noticable, any thign that couldnt be reworked would be smleted back down, any compnentes would be all tested and put to use to make radios and more nessacery things other than dvd players and i-podsx23's

liveing would be under ground based, close to the core of earth, the surafece would be grey ash and dust pulled from most places, you my you may find a zeplin, arise, naval ships will defanatly be in tackt, transport, old army trop plays would prolly be the only other thing in the deep dark air, and flying blind thro ash so no radar, unless one was made post bombs btu since hte bombs keep coming

yeah,and the majority of MAJOR millitary installations,which hold the vast majority of all the info needed to produce weapons of war,and the factories to produce em', are indeed EMP proof...might I add,being underground blocks EMP's too...guess which countries have underground bases?That's right...every single freaking one...

also...how could you render a good ol' XM-8 useless through EMP?#1,it's made of %90 plastic,and #2 the parts that are metal,have no real electronics in em'...basically the only things f***ed then,are naval mortars,all non-dumbfire missles,and all majorly electronic vehicles...might I add,shermans would still be operatable...as well as any vechicle without REQUIREING electronics to guide it.Things like bi-planes would still work,all stuff like stick shift cars...alot of stuff would still work,but we're basically be in a WWII again,except better infantry weapons...

every thing will short, fry, and be rendered useless, every thing will be taken back to WWII, but the manual luxurys they had back then will be forgoten by this date, and the auto or digital, gear that wil labe around at this time will nurf its self, under the wake of a semi invisable force

ok hang on millatery targets there the first to go, yes there berried deep, but nukes will be in easy supplie, said new weapon will be the limited uses, and will be the thing used to take out mill grade installs

and if there were any ranks in this, it would be from a couple of big wigs siting in there satalights playing a big game of chess

The hydrogen powered car runs on like... little to no electronic systems. It's just advanced mechanical comprehension... it's a step into the future. EMP isn't actually that common, whatever era you look at. Niether is nuclear usage. You can go ahead and say it's the future, but i see it this way, using a nuke is like attempted genocide... and no "Rebel" or authority would be willing to do that if it were for the good of society. Contrary to the beliefs that Hitler would come along again, I like the theory that if somebody did crop up, all the political correctness of the future would see him/her put to justice....
