For what ever reason that didnt work because when im around a phasegate or flickering wires i still get a fps drop. Is there any thing else i can try?

What's your card? is it integrated? I had a friend with the same problem, but with flashlights... (he was also admin, so he illiminated people who used the flash light. =] )

Its an integrated card because currently i have no choice but to game on a laptop, now ns is very playable but when i come accross these sorts of things my frames just drop.

A long shot here, but can you assign it more memory?

Or perhaps change the latency of your memory in bios, to speed up the gfx memory.

    disable particle effects

Yeah, disabling particle effects will greatly increase your fps all around. I'd guess that the fps drop is when you're near a phase gate, and an integrated graphics card has trouble drawing something a lot smaller into something huge.

If the particle effects doesn't work, don't use pg ftl.
