How To Record Demos In A Game

<div class="IPBDescription">demos</div> I was wondering if someone could tell me how you record 'demos' of people in Natural Selection games, usually because they hack and want to prove it. Thanks.

To start recording a demo from the console where <demoname> is the name of the demo just type

<i>demo "<demoname>"</i>

then when you're done recording

<i>stop</i>

You can also bind a <key> to a messagemode like

<i>bind "<key>" "messagemode demo"</i>

which will pop up a little message prompt where you can enter the name of the demo you wish to record. That's what I use. Note that you don't need to include .dem at the end of any of these.

This are the commands you need.
I prefer the command "viewdemo" to watch my demos,
because you can do alot of other things with this little command/kinda tool.
For example to increase/decrease the speed how the demo should be shown

use viewdemo, playdemo is sometimes unstable and can crash, plus it doesnt have the seek bar etc.
