Recommend A Keyboard

Ok so I'm looking to purchase a new keyboard.. preferably under $25. I'd like something that is soft touch, quiet, and hopefully black.

Thanks in advance <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I am happy with the Memorex keyboard I got from CompUSA several years ago. I believe it was 15 bucks, they keys feel good, the only disadvantage is that it locks up if you hold more than 3 keys at once. (crouch strafe-moving gets me into trouble often)

My current keyboard, I think it's really comfortable. But then again it could just be that I'm used to it now.

YES. One of the best keyboards I've ever used, soft touch, very comfortable, black and some nice features to boot.

I hate the keyboards with all those buttons on the top =( why must I be so anal? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I stick with the $5 basic beige brick keyboard. I have no need for any of those special
buttons or fuctions, and the ergonomic ones are too hard to type on, especially when
    they have rounded keys.

I used to hate the ones with the buttons on top too but now I find them quite handy. I could only get hold of the one ergonomic keyboard quickly which was the MS multimedia one and I'm very happy with it.

    However <a href='http://www.daskeyboard.com' target='_blank'>this</a> is what I call a keyboard.

Logitech UltraX Flat keyboard. It's silent, it looks nice, and the typing feeling is really good. It takes a tiny bit of adaptation, it's a laptop-like feeling.

Yes, I'm looking for one too.
Requirements: Black (or fit well with black), not too bulky (logitech ftl), no "laptop feel," media controls = don't care, responsive, durable, easy to clean.

ReK, not all logitechs are big.

Take a look at this one, it fits the slim form factor.

Just buy the cheapest one you can find. A keyboard's a keyboard.

Mine cost me £2, and it's worked perfectly for years.

Saitek Gamer's Keyboard. Good bold keyboard, positive keytap. Comfortable to use.

NOT Recommended if you run XP x64, the SST pad is a **** to install under x64...

FULLY Recommended if you don't run x64...

That keyboard is bloody beautiful. How much does that usually run for? Some of my keys are starting to mess up. Like all yesterday, my 7 button outputted 76 instead of just 7. It was really odd. And no I don't have fat fingers, so that's what makes it odd.
