A subtle hint?
Okay, just read the Doug interview by "Amped News", and read about the mostly Half-Life 2 scence, but noticed a very interesting, perhaps sutble enough, to mean "We think Natural Selection has a good shot on the Source SDK". Honestly, I think that is sort of a sign. Get 3.1 done, and then start more serious on NS:S. If the NS2 project is coming along better, go for it. I would love to see what Natural Selection could do on its own engine setting its own limits. I think its time to really stop nursing on the Half-Life 1 engine and really start proding hard-core into what it can do and turn some serious heads. Currently looking at some mod development in the HL2 mod field, its going to be a lot of the same type of mods that dominate the HL1 engine. I think its mostly these 5
1) Team Fortress Style Games (already 3 in production I know of, could be more)
2) World War 2 Style mods(DOD:S, a couple others as usual)
3) Action Style Mods(The Specialists/Action HL type games)
4) Anime Remakes
5) Goofy mods(already Garrys Mod and a couple other)
What sets Natural Selection apart is it really doesnt fit into any of those catagorys, and that is what makes it is own living beast in a way. Most popular non-Valve licensed game according to GameSpy Half Life server charts. There is something to be said for that. Im proud to say I play Natural Selection. Im going to end at saying thank for Unknown Worlds Entertainment for giving me the best online gaming experience for the last 2 years. Keep doing what you do.

PS: Post the love for Natural Selection.

Hell yeah... I really cant wait for the next generation of ns, or just ss of its production underway
However long it may take I'll be in line when NS:S or NS 2 stand alone is released. Outstanding game that I don't anything has come close to since it was released.

Agreed. With Natural Selection's uniqueness, I say that there will be no game out there that will equal or maybe surpass it, at least not for a while.
I think I said this before, but keep it up UWE. We're all looking forward for 3.1 (and maybe beyond , NS:S and NS2).
Win!
