Just watched a really sad episode :/
It was season 4 episode 6 "Jurassic Bark". Fry finds his dog from the past fossilized and wants to clone it, anyway cut to the end. Fry decides not to clone it after he discovers it lived on for 12 years after he was frozen, his reason being it must forgotten him and moved on.

The episode then flashed back to the past and show the dog sitting outside the pizzeria where fry worked waiting for him to come back (like he said he would just before he left for that last delivery) for the whole 12 years with a really sad look on it's face

There's a dog outside my house right now, too, but it sure as hell doesn't like me. In fact, it wants to...kill...me.

I thought the one with Lella stuck in the coma was sadder.

The dog one is only sad at the end, but the one I'm talking about is a real downer through the whole episode.

The one where they keep jumping through time and space is sad. Fry writes out a love letter with the stars and they accidently blow it up before he can show it to anyone.

    Go buy them then!

I got the limited edition box set, with all 15 DVDs in them, 4 series in total.

And then proceeded to watch them back to back over 2 days

I want english Futurama. French Futurama doesn't cut it, and there's no way I'll be paying anything more than one DVD season on my budget.

I know theres a couple individual seasons out on DVD, my brother's got one (english, french, spanish i believe).

Check online, our bound to find something cheap.

That wasn't completely sad though. It was funny alongside the sad bits.

"I will always remember you......MEMORY DELETED!"

It's worth it. I forgot how much I paid, but it's cheap compared to stuff like Simpsons or Futurama because there's only three seasons.

Thing is tho this episode was quite funny and a good laugh up until the point when it showed the dog waiting for fry for the rest of it's life and looking sad, very depressing ending tbh.

Jurrasic Bark was the closest something coming from a TV has ever come to making me cry.

True, but only the ending scene, starting when bender tosses the dog in the lava. It's still supposed to be comedy.

    Indeed.

One thing I wish Futurama would've done was go back to 100% comedy. A lot of the last episodes were downright sad, usually ending on a sad note.
