Doom Roguelike

Another good game no-one has heard about
http://chaos.magma-net.pl/doom/
That game is awesome. Just like Doom, only in ASCII (even includes sounds and music to get you in that Doom mood ). Anyone try it out already?

This means, that it is played like older RPGs.
You have 1 action per turn and with this action you can move, shoot, use things, pick things up etc.etc. To sum it up: It has not much with doom in common(gameplay wise) and should be better compared to the ultima 1-3.
You are paralysed for two rounds while you climb back onto your chair.

At least for me, heh. Doom 3 = not scary, not fast-paced Doom gameplay, pretty if there's a lightsource anywhere in the level.
On-topic, this is awesome. But not as awesome as the real thing.
U. Same thing with levers and anything else that needs to be used... It's like the universal 'a'pply key.

He started his journey on the suface of Phobos.
On level 2 he battled through a maze of rooms.
Afterwards he fought on Hell's Arena.
On level 3 he battled through a maze of rooms.
On level 4 he battled through a maze of rooms.
He then stormed the Chained Court.
On level 5 he battled through a maze of rooms.
On level 6 he battled through a maze of rooms.
On level 7 he found a hellish city.
On level 8 he found a hellish city.
On level 9 he battled through a maze of rooms.
On level 10 he battled through a maze of rooms.
There finally he was killed by a hell knight.
You should have seen me. I was, like, CRAZY.
Probably just bad luck. I think the levels are random. Try again, and make sure you take every move as carefully as possible.
I use a shotgun/pistol combo for floor 2, use combat shottie/shottie combo for Hell's arena, then use the chaingun for pretty much the rest of the game.
Well, except for levels like The Wall, where I use a WHOLE lot of rockets.
By the time I get to the deeper levels of hell I use rocket launcher/energy gun/double shottie/chaingun, but I start having trouble with the small inventory.
