Optical Drives :o
<div class="IPBDescription">Need a good one o.o</div> Well o.o I'm after a good optical drive for my new pc. Pref one with DVD burning abilities.
Some questions though:
How usefull is this lightscribe thingy? who make good opticals? :o

Im probably gonna by one of these for my next compy upgrade:

For more general rules, Plextor, Sony, and Pioneer have some really excellent drives.
Lite On, MSI, NEC, Samgsung, A Open, and Ben Q have some quite nice drives, just at lower prices.
I wouldn't go with generic drives very often, maybe pick out one you want and look up reviews. Also, it varys alot drive-to-drive, so if you get 10 from one manufacturer, 1 may be bad, but if you get one, theres always a chance that you will get that one. Buy from a decent retailer and whether the drive is great or not, you always have a replacement possibility.
