Transparent Minimaps?

is it possible to just alter the current minimaps with transparency? ideally if you could even change the percent, all i found were outdated transparent ones from roughly a year ago, and the guides don't make transparency correctly <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

anyone know how to make them transparent, or at least link to some that are?

    Not trying to flame here, but I found the thread I think you're looking for with a search for "transparent", titles only, 180 days old or newer. It seems like you already did a few searches and didn't come up with anything, so that's what I used for search options so I could find <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90087' target='_blank'>this</a> thread.

    [EDIT] I should mention that those minimaps have location names. AFAIK, transparent minimaps <i>without</i> location names don't exist for 3.0 final. [/EDIT]

    bah thanks, i must have missed this, but i was more intent on learning how to convert a minimap for a map nobody plays except for cal to transparent

    e : oh i see why, for some reason the software starts at "30 days or older", why the hell it does that is beyond me.
