If someone happened to post a legit Half-Life CD key on the NS forums, how long do you think it would take for someone to register it?

Take in account that most people wouldn't try, others wouldn't need it... etc...

    And how quickly do you think that they would be banned? Very few people will go out of their way to buy a copy of a game, just to hand out the key to everyone who passes by. Far more likely, it'd be a stolen key. AKA, illegal. AKA, not permitted here without receiving a size 13 boot to the posterior.

    Additionally, there would be the troll factor; that many people trying to register that key, which might result in a Steamban of it entirely.



    Short version, it wouldn't be wise to do. So don't, if you were thinking of it.
